Update Race Information

Washington Crossing 15k

The Washington Crossing 15K starts and finishes in Washington Crossing Historic Park and runs out-and-back along the Delaware Canal State Park towpath, returning to Washington Crossing State Park.

THIS EVENT BEGINS AT 5PM ON A SATURDAY NIGHT.

This is a rain or shine event. In the event or rain, the canal towpath may be muddy. Built in 1832, the tow path is narrow in some sections, requiring single file travel.

Field will be limited to 600 participants. In order to reduce crowding on the Delaware Canal State Park towpath, this Bucks County Marathon Series race will employ a wave start; small groups based on seed times will be released over a ten minute period. Please be honest with your seed times. Incorrect times make travel on along the Canal towpath more difficult for all runners.

The race will be timed using ChronoTrack D chips, and there will be checkpoints along the course. Each mile will be marked with a sign. We respectfully suggest that you wear a watch and pace yourself appropriately.

There will be a 2:18 time limit on the course. Aid stations will be closed at a 14:52 mile pace plus the time last starter crossed the starting line. The turnaround will be disassembled at 6:10 PM.

Short sleeve tech shirts to all entrants and finishers medal to those that earn them.

Overall awards to top three Men and Women and age-group awards for these age groups: Under 20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & Older (Age group awards are subject to change dependent on registration ratios)

Family and friends are encouraged to cheer on their runners as they can drive to several locations along the course to watch and cheer- there are areas of the course we will ask them to not travel, as the locations have limited space. More spectator information will be published in advance of the race.
