Race for a Reason 5k

Race for a Reason is a walk/run 5k presented by Alpha Sigma Alpha benefiting the Area 17 Special Olympics. This means that all of the registration money will be donated to the Area 17 Special Olympics so that they can provide year - round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, building the participants confidence, pride, and physical strength. If you have never run a 5k before, you can email trainforareason5k@gmail.com for weekly exercise updates on a plan that will get you ready for the day of the race.

Also, a team is considered 5 people, and it is always more fun to run in a group! Registration Fees: Early Registration (by November 2nd): Individual $25, Group $20 per person in a group of 6 or more Late registration (after November 2nd) $35. Day of Race: $40 Participants wishing to register as a group must use the Mail-In Registration link above and mail your discounted payment to the address provided - Online Registration (with credit card payment) is NOT available for Groups.
