Run The Runway 5K

This event hosted by the North Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce benefits Playworks, a 501-c3 nonprofit organization which transforms schools through play.
THE PLAYWORKS MISSION: To improve the health and well-being of children by increasing opportunities for physical activity and safe, meaningful play.
Playworks is a national nonprofit organization that transforms schools by providing play and physical activity at recess and throughout the school day. Through our on-site direct service and trainer-led professional development workshops, Playworks restores valuable teaching time, reduces bullying, increases physical activity and improves the school and learning environment.
Take off for a morning run at the inaugural Run the Runway 5K Run/Walk & Kids Dash at Scottsdale Airport. The race will take you down the actual runway for a plane good time.. Special appearances by the Suns Gorilla & Big Red and Bounce Boot Camp inflatable's will be on site as well.
Packet Pickup starts at 7:30am.

Race start at 8:30. Kids Mile (12 & under) at 9:15. Free Kids Dash for 8 and under at 9:30.
