Western Maryland Women's Half Marathon & 5k

TIME: Half – 8:00am start; 5K – 8:30am start Packet pick up for both races will be held at the host hotel, Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott, in Cumberland on Saturday, November 2nd from 12:00pm – 6:00pm. RUNNERS: Every runner will receive a race shirt; aid station support, and post race food. Half marathon runners will receive a finisher’s medal. AWARDS: Cash prizes for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd half marathon finishers and overall 1st place for the 5K. Awards given to the top three finishing runners in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over (Note: Men are welcome to register for this race but only female participants are eligible for awards.)
Half marathon is an out and back course on the Great Allegheny Passage.

Course is a crushed gravel trail with a slight incline in the first half and a nice descending grade in the second half. The 5K is an out and back course on the C&O Canal Towpath. This is a soft surface, flat course. Both races start and finish at Canal Parkway in Cumberland, Maryland
