Tap 'N' Run Bakersfield

Tap 'N' Run is all about friends and teams, hilarious costumes and amusing group concepts, responsible entertainment and leave-the-kids-at-home-and-let-off-some steam. Tap 'N' Run is about drinking beer and having a ridiculously good time!

The beauty of Tap 'N' Run, other than the obvious, is that it's an extremely short distance, 4K or 2.5 miles, which anyone can complete within an hour. Multiple beer chug stations are strategically placed at the Start and on the race route where participants get to indulge in 5-6 ounces of beautiful beer on a trek to the Finish Line where a full brew awaits! In addition to an awesomely unique experience, every runner (read: walker, crawler, skipper, hopper, potato-sack-racer, etc.) receives a sweet finisher's medal (that doubles as a bottle opener--no, really) and a you-know-you'll-wear-it-around-town race t-shirt.

Tap 'N' Run is a social race, complete with hilarious Extracurricular Awards such as Best 'Stache, Most Unique Team Concept, Drunkest Duo, We Wear Short Shorts (unfortunately, dudes usually win this one: so disturbing) and Best Belcher (full list of Extracurriculars on the website).

Running in a long straight line is old and crusty. Plus, lots of those types of races have brew at the end anyway to help forget the insane boredom you just trudged through! So join us for Tap 'N' Run and be sure to Pace Yourself!

Race Reponsibly! We know you'll have a great time during the race, but please make plans to assign a designated driver to your team.

We can also help! Find a JAM Active staff member at any Tap 'N' Run and we'll make plans to get you home safely!

Event schedule and times

On-line registration will close at 11:59pm on Friday, January 31st. You may register after that date at the Packet Pick-up location (location TBD) until 12:30pm on Saturday, February 1st. The race itself will begin at 1:00pm.

Who is JAM Active?

Good question! JAM Active is based in Louisville, KY and loves putting on kick-ass races! We do way more than just Tap 'N' Run...check us out at www.jamactive.com!
