Update Race Information

Superheroes vs Villains 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

This is a chip timed, evening costume 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run event on a flat out and back course on pavement. Choose between a superhero or villain and be prepared for lots of fun and surprises on the downtown Joplin race course! There will be a professional DJ and race photographer as well. Also, stay after and enjoy a post-race atmostphere like you've never experienced before as superheroes and villains descend upon the local restaurants and bars for a night of fun with friends and family! There will be awards for best female, male, and child under 12 costume.  Age category awards will be awarded for the following age categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Make sure to secure a race shirt in your size by registering by March 22.

 Extra race shirts will ordered, but sizes will come on a first come, first serve basis after this date!

 

Event schedule and times

5K Race Start Time: 6:30p.m.

1 Mile Fun Run Start Time: 6:35p.m.

Packet Pick-Up wil be from 3:00p.m.-6:30p.m. at The Run Around (422 Main Street, Joplin, MO).

Race Day Registration will be available from 3:00p.m.-6:30p.m. at The Run Around. (Note: the race day fee increases to $35 for the 5K.  The 1 Mile Fun Run fee is fixed at $15).
