Avoid Skipping Recovery

Listening to your body is key to avoiding injury and burnout. Your body can actually grow stronger when you are at rest. The process of training includes workouts that are strategically placed along with rest days, which provides stimulation during the activity and recovery when you are at rest. If you are new to running, it is important not to push yourself to hard. Injuries can pop up when training advances too quickly. If your body is giving you warning signs, listen and take the extra time off so you can fully adjust and recover to meet your specific fitness needs.

The course runs through the EFSC campus and the Brevard Museum trail. Proceeds benefit Endeavour Elementary School

COURSE
Panthers On the Prowl 5K will be starting and finishing near the amphitheater at East Florida State College (BCC) in Cocoa.

SHIRTS
Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment process are guaranteed a free race shirt.

PROCEEDS
Proceeds and donations go directly to Cocoa High School and Endeavour Elementary School.

TIMING & SCORING
This is a chip timed event where all participants receive a chip that is attached to the back of the bib. It's very important that you wear your bib.
