By actually setting up a date on your calendar, you pinpoint the time that you have to be ready to step on that starting line of your 5K race.

Prepare a training schedule immediately after booking your 5K race. New runners should begin with light training and build into a longer running routine.

Frozen Feet 5k/10k/Half Marathon

The Frozen Feet Run is a on-snow winter trail run at Elm Creek Park in Champlin, Minnesota. Racers can choose between running a 5k, 10k, or half marathon. It’s a unique run because, while there are many 5k’s/10k’s/halfs, there are very few that are held on snowpacked trails! Give yourself a new challenge and freeze your feet!

  • 9:30 am – Half Marathon race start
  • 7:30-10:30 am – 10k check-in
  • 10:40 am – 10k prerace reminders at start line
  • 10:45 am – 10k race start
  • 7:30-11:15 am – 5k check-in
  • 11:25 am – 5k prerace reminders at start line
  • 11:30 am – 5k race start
  • 12:15-1:15 pm – Post Race Meeting, Awards, Prizes
  • 1:30 pm – Course closes for all races
