Set a Date
No matter if it is your first 5K race or your hundredth, when you register for a 5K race it will keep you motivated and on task to reach your goal of running a successful 5K race. By actually setting up a date on your calendar, you pinpoint the time that you have to be ready to step on that starting line of your 5K race.
Prepare a training schedule immediately after booking your 5K race. New runners should begin with light training and build into a longer running routine.
With the popularity of the October Tampa Bay Whiskey Run, Xanadu Race Management and The City of Tampa are bringing you the February 17, 2018, Tampa Bay Tequila Run at Whiskey Joe's in Tampa. Again, this race is also limited to 500 participants as it is one of the ONLY races in the world where you can participate in an organized event to run or walk WITH WATER ON BOTH SIDES! We hope you enjoy this race across the Bay!
All participants in both the 5K and 10K will receive the very unique Tampa Bay Tequila Run finisher's medal that won't disappoint as XRM is known for the best finisher's medals in the world. Participants will also receive the unique Tequia Run technical shirt and well as a chip timed event from Endurance Sports Timing.
From local Tampa Bay health enthusiasts to people who have visited Tampa Bay from all over the world, we’ve fallen in love with this beautiful fully paved fitness trail known as The Courtney Campbell Trail. Many of us have dreamed about participating in an event with water on both sides and this Bay run is one of the most classic in the world.
All distances are bib chip timed with a start and finish line mat. The morning moves fast, we have a finite amount of registrants, and you will need to be on site in a timely manner in order to advance to your start corrals. The 10K will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 10 a.m. The parking garage will open at 8:30 and pre race packet pick up will be available race morning as well as the Friday night before the run from 5 pm to 7 pm at Whiskey Joe's Waterfront Grill where all the fun takes place.
All distances are an out and back course on the trail which is completely paved. Due to the narrowing areas of the trail we cannot allow baby strollers or pets. If you are a participant who requires a special device please contact race management so that we start you in the perfect wave to suit your needs.

On race week, registrants will be emailed specific instructions as to where to park and the best time to arrive. Again this race is sold out at 500 total participants as the trail remains open to the public. We hope to have you at this one of a kind Tampa Bay Tequila Run! Our post race party will present awards to the first 15 males and first 15 male finisher's in each distance. Overall finish times will be posted later on race day at www.727CanRace.com
Participants who choose to fundraise for the Shrine will recieve our sponsored bottle of Tequila gift bag with $200 or more in donations to the Shrine of Tampa (these can be brought with you on race weekend). Fundraising is separate from your registration fee and is not mandatory. We will congratulate each of you who fundraise by presenting your gift bag on stage at the beginning of our post race awards party on the tiki deck at Whiskey Joe's on race morning at 11:15 am with free beer and nacho bar for all participants.
