Set a Date
No matter if it is your first 5K race or your hundredth, when you register for a 5K race it will keep you motivated and on task to reach your goal of running a successful 5K race. By actually setting up a date on your calendar, you pinpoint the time that you have to be ready to step on that starting line of your 5K race.
Prepare a training schedule immediately after booking your 5K race. New runners should begin with light training and build into a longer running routine.
Join the movement that's taken over the racing world. Hot Chocolate 15k/5k is returning to Minneapolis on April 14, 2018! Start and finish in Boom Island Park amongst the biggest chocolate aficionados in Minneapolis. This year, train, race, and celebrate with us all the way to the finish line. We're with you through the season.
The Hot Chocolate Experience starts from the minute you register. Keep an eye out for messages that will help enrich your race experience, including customizable fundraising pages and training programs tailored to your running goals.
Two weeks before the race, make sure to come back to our website to view and download the Participant Guide.
Your last stop before race day is our race expo. Here you'll be able to pick up your packet, which includes a race day bib and goodie bag. Apart from receiving your race day bib and goodie bag, you?ll also enjoy rockin? tunes, a Kid Zone with bounce houses & games, merchandise from Hot Chocolate 15k/5k & our favorite running partners, and decadent chocolate samples!
