Avoid Skipping Recovery

Listening to your body is key to avoiding injury and burnout. Your body can actually grow stronger when you are at rest. The process of training includes workouts that are strategically placed along with rest days, which provides stimulation during the activity and recovery when you are at rest. If you are new to running, it is important not to push yourself to hard. Injuries can pop up when training advances too quickly. If your body is giving you warning signs, listen and take the extra time off so you can fully adjust and recover to meet your specific fitness needs.

Runway 5k - LifeCycles

We're excited to bring back the Runway 5k in conjunction with the Thru-It-All bicycling team. Please join us this year for a fun, unique 5k run!  Run 3.1 miles on Smoketown Airport's runway! Each loop around the runway is a flat and fast 1 mile. Come out and get a PR!

All proceeds from this race will support LifeCycles. LIFECYCLES is an organization that exists to build young men of character. LIFECYCLES wraps mentoring, spiritual development, and life skills development in the adventure of a Christ-centered bicycle touring experience for urban teens. Event details and schedule

Prizes for top 3 overall 5k finishers (male and female). There will also be prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups:

6 and under, 7-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+



Short-sleeve performance T-shirts to all registrants who register by April 21 (sizes and availability not guaranteed to those registering after the 21st). 

Free breakfast items will be provided for all racers and guests.  Breakfast starts at 7am and will run until the food is gone.

Event details and schedule

$25 before April 21, 2018 with T-shirt

$30 after April 21, 2018 (T-Shirts are not guaranteed)

Registration will be available the day of the event but it is recommended to pre-register.

Start time: 10 AM rain or shine.

All participants must be able to complete the race in 60 minutes.


We're excited to have you run with us wherever you're located. Register as a virtual participant and run from your door or gym. Sign up as a virtual runner for $20.
