Tip Of The Day

Set a Date

No matter if it is your first 5K race or your hundredth, when you register for a 5K race it will keep you motivated and on task to reach your goal of running a successful 5K race. By actually setting up a date on your calendar, you pinpoint the time that you have to be ready to step on that starting line of your 5K race.

Prepare a training schedule immediately after booking your 5K race. New runners should begin with light training and build into a longer running routine.

Rodeo Run 5K

The Rodeo Run is a 5K family-oriented run benefiting the charity (Historic Fort Worth, Inc.) that works year-round to save the buildings that make Fort Worth unique. This run will make it possible to drop a few holiday pounds, celebrate Fort Worth’s western culture, and zip past great historic buildings, all at the same time! The run route starts and finishes at Thistle Hill, Fort Worth’s first landmark and a stewardship property HFW makes available to the public. It will also take you through the historic Fairmount//Magnolia Avenue area. Runners will be chip-timed by Cox Racing Services.
