Set a Date

No matter if it is your first 5K race or your hundredth, when you register for a 5K race it will keep you motivated and on task to reach your goal of running a successful 5K race. By actually setting up a date on your calendar, you pinpoint the time that you have to be ready to step on that starting line of your 5K race.

Prepare a training schedule immediately after booking your 5K race. New runners should begin with light training and build into a longer running routine.

Recovery Works! CADAS 5K

Recovery Works! CADAS 5K is for running enthusiasts, for those in recovery, for survivors of those who have struggled with addiction, their families and supporters, and their caregivers. Runners may choose to run in honor of, or in memory of someone in recovery.

 The run will bring hope and inspiration to those directly benefiting from this event; the clients of CADAS.

The run is a flat, out and back 5K, great for all levels of participants. The race begins at the Blue Goose Hollow Trail on the TN Riverwalk and returns back to the finish line at the pavilion.

If you are interested in supporting CADAS and don't want to run, please attend the Silent Auction that will take place throughout the event.  The proceeds from the auction will benefit the adolescent facility at CADAS, Scholze Center.

After the race, special announcements, sponsor acknowledgements, and race awards presentation will take place.
