Run/Walk with the Son for Haiti 5K

This event is a family-oriented 5K run/walk through a friendly neighborhood in Yorktown, Virginia. It features pickup food and drinks before and after the race, live music performed by the Tabb HS Jazz Band, and lots of give-aways, raffles, and a silent auction. All proceeds go directly to educating Haitian children in Boucan Carre, Haiti. Last year the race monies provided 180 additional students with school tuition, uniform, books, a daily vitamin, and hot meal for the entire school year.
