By actually setting up a date on your calendar, you pinpoint the time that you have to be ready to step on that starting line of your 5K race.

Prepare a training schedule immediately after booking your 5K race. New runners should begin with light training and build into a longer running routine.

The Human Lungs are AMAZING! You usually don't even notice it, but twelve to twenty times per minute, day after day, you breathe -- thanks to your body's respiratory system. Your lungs expand and contract, supplying life-sustaining oxygen to your body and removing from it, a waste product called carbon dioxide. For our second The Human Body Series race we are celebrating this amazing human organ with The Human Lungs 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2. Plus, we’ll be donating at least 15% from every registration to GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer, which is founded by patients and survivors and they are transforming what it means to live with lung cancer and increase the survival rate of the world’s number one cancer killer. October is Healthy Lung Month and we are excited to do our part to spread awareness.
