Tip Of The Day

Set a Date

No matter if it is your first 5K race or your hundredth, when you register for a 5K race it will keep you motivated and on task to reach your goal of running a successful 5K race. By actually setting up a date on your calendar, you pinpoint the time that you have to be ready to step on that starting line of your 5K race.

Prepare a training schedule immediately after booking your 5K race. New runners should begin with light training and build into a longer running routine.

2019 No Place Like Home for the Holidays 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2

There is no place like home for the holidays! With the holidays coming, we want to celebrate with our third annual No Place Like Home for the Holidays 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2! This year’s medal is inspired by Home Alone. KEVIN! December 21 is National Homeless Person’s Remembrance Day. There are so many people without a place to call home for the holidays and we dedicate our race to them. We will be donating at least 15% of each registration to the National Health Care for the Homeless Council.
