Avoid Skipping Recovery

Listening to your body is key to avoiding injury and burnout. Your body can actually grow stronger when you are at rest. The process of training includes workouts that are strategically placed along with rest days, which provides stimulation during the activity and recovery when you are at rest. If you are new to running, it is important not to push yourself to hard. Injuries can pop up when training advances too quickly. If your body is giving you warning signs, listen and take the extra time off so you can fully adjust and recover to meet your specific fitness needs.

Camp Innabah Challenge Trail 5k

Join us for the sixth annual trail romp and hike around the beautiful hills and dales of one of PA’s oldest Summer Camps! Course: The course ranges from dirt trails, gravel roads, and a few short paved sections over rolling terrain above the beautiful French Creek in scenic Chester County. The course traverses a variety of gorgeous landscapes and is pretty awesome, just saying. All proceeds benefit the summer camping programs and scholarship funds. Back by popular demand, a delightful pancake and bacon breakfast in our dining hall! Walkers will receive race T-Shirts and goodies, but will not be timed or scored. Amenities: T-Shirt to all pre-registered runners, pancake breakfast after the run, as well as coupons to All Kinds of Fast – Phoenixville and North Wales Running Company Awards: M & F 1st, 2nd, and 3rd; Plus - Top 3 age group awards to: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Registration: 8-8:45AM. Cost: $30 before race day, $35 Day of race. THERE ARE NO RACE REFUNDS. (This race is charity based).
